The GTe Crate System is the world’s first complete Electric Vehicle (EV) Conversion System designed specifically for the classic Pininfarina FIAT 124 Spider.
The eGT173 universal plug and play EV system is a single motor EV conversion solution with great application for the FIAT 124 Spider. This system is suited perfectly for the Spider and is equivalent to about 200 horsepower. A range of 70-150 miles. This installation is compact and integrates the controller and accessories under the hood for a clean installation.
The kit developed by electric GT simplifies the conversion process to be easily in reach for mechanics, home garage experts and fabricators. Custom mounts and brackets are not included with this kit but a detailed installation manual provides step by step guidance to fabricate exactly what is needed.
