For founders Csaba and Ramzi, their deep love for FIAT — especially the iconic FIAT 124 Spider — became the foundation for a thriving niche mail-order business. To understand how it all started, we need to rewind to 2009, when the dream began in Csaba's garage.
Long before Auto Ricambi was born, Csaba and Ramzi had been friends and passionate FIAT enthusiasts for decades. Their mutual obsession with the FIAT 124 Spider made it only natural for them to combine their skills and resources, creating a company that would offer affordable, high-quality replacement parts for owners of these beloved classic cars. In the early days, they worked tirelessly to source the best parts on the market and fulfill orders quickly. By 2010, their dedication paid off — the business had grown so much that they needed more space. That's when they found their first warehouse in Colleyville, Texas, just minutes from DFW International Airport. This strategic location helped streamline shipping and reduce costs.
This expansion marked a pivotal moment for Auto Ricambi, confirming that turning their passion into a profession was the right decision. As the company flourished, the need for further growth became clear. The next challenge was hiring additional staff to manage the rising volume of orders and shipments. In 2014, AJ was brought on to manage logistics and swiftly introduced a barcode-based inventory system, revolutionizing warehouse operations and boosting efficiency.
With business booming, Frank, a seasoned FIAT expert and former sales manager at International Auto Parts, joined the team. Frank brought not only his vast knowledge of FIAT 124 Spiders but also decades of customer service experience, making him a perfect fit for the growing customer base.
As Auto Ricambi continued to thrive, it acquired several respected FIAT parts businesses that were closing their doors or retiring. This acquisition strategy strengthened their position in the market and solidified their reputation as a trusted source for FIAT parts. Recognizing the importance of staying ahead in the digital age, the team launched a mobile-friendly website and ramped up marketing efforts. This led to the recruitment of Brett, a FIAT enthusiast with over 26 years of experience in advertising. Brett’s expertise helped propel Auto Ricambi to new heights, establishing it as an industry leader in FIAT parts.
Today, Auto Ricambi is proud to house North America’s largest inventory of parts for both classic and new FIAT Spiders. We have parts in stock and ready to ship to owners worldwide. In addition, we've expanded our offerings to include parts for the new FIAT 500 models (2012 and up), ensuring a bright future for our niche, online parts business.
The Auto Ricambi team has never been stronger, and business has never been better. Our continued success has led to another round of expansion. In response to growing demand, we decided to purchase a new headquarters in Archer City, Texas. The new facility, located on over 10 acres of land, more than triples the size of our previous location in Colleyville, and dramatically enhances our storage and fulfillment capabilities.
