Threaded Nipple for Carburetors

 

Often, the pressed-in fuel inlet nipple on older carburetors or fuel pumps will become loose or fall out, creating a fire hazard - It's good insurance to replace the pressed-in nipples with these threaded ones.

 

Use a 1/8" pipe thread tap to cut threads in the carburetor - The nipple has a barb for 8mm or 5/16" hose.

 

These are also commonly used in US-made fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulators.
